The Rheem® Mains Pressure Vitreous Enamel (MPVE) range is New Zealand’s trusted choice for reliable, high-performance electric hot water storage. Built with a vitreous enamel-lined inner tank, these cylinders deliver outstanding corrosion resistance across the full spectrum of New Zealand water conditions — including varying pH levels, high chlorides, hard water, and Microbiological Induced Corrosion (MIC) as found in areas with untreated bore water.

Available in a wide range of capacities from 25 to 294 litres, with single and twin element options to suit everything from compact spaces to large family homes, the MPVE range continues to be one of the most popular hot water storage solutions on the New Zealand market.

Superior Corrosion Resistance

The vitreous enamel lining provides the best available protection against a wide range of water conditions. Every MPVE cylinder is also fitted with a sacrificial zinc/magnesium anode for additional corrosion protection in adverse water conditions, helping to extend the life of the cylinder.

High-quality Solstice ZD insulation maintains water temperature for longer, reducing energy use and running costs. Solstice ZD also has a very low Global Warming Potential and zero ozone-depleting properties.
