Works Day and Night, All Year Round

Unlike solar water heaters, the HydraHeat® does not rely on direct sunlight — it draws heat from the surrounding air. With an operating range of -10°C to +42°C, it operates in full heat pump mode right down to -10°C without the need for electric boosting. A built-in 2kW electric element guarantees a consistent and dependable supply of hot water at all times.

Designed and Built in New Zealand

The HydraHeat® head unit has been specifically designed and built in New Zealand for local climatic conditions, including coastal locations. The whole system is engineered for easy installation in any New Zealand home.

Modular ‘Heat Pump Ready’ Design

The HydraHeat® features a modular design that allows you to upgrade from a standalone electric cylinder to full heat pump technology simply by adding the HydraHeat® head unit. The removable heat pump unit also allows for easy servicing while ensuring an uninterrupted supply of hot water.

Suitable for a Range of Homes

The 340L model is suitable for households of 2–7 people. With an operating sound level of only 45dB(A), it is well suited to a wide range of residential environments, including built-up areas.

User-Friendly OLED Control Interface

The intuitive OLED screen controller provides clear visibility of system performance and offers six versatile operation modes: Standard, Boost, Eco 55, Eco 50, High Usage, and Element Only — giving you full control over your hot water system.
