The Panasonic Deluxe Series HE-UM60CR is a 6kW split-system CO₂ heat pump hot water system built for New Zealand homes. Using natural CO₂ (R744) refrigerant and advanced heat pump technology, it draws heat from the outside air to heat your water — cutting hot water running costs by up to 70% compared with a standard electric cylinder.*

The outdoor unit operates in ambient temperatures from -10°C to 43°C, so it keeps delivering hot showers through the colder months in most parts of New Zealand.

Choice of Tank Size

The heat pump pairs with a separate storage tank in 215L, 275L or 340L sizes, with enamel or stainless steel options, so you can match the system to your household size and hot water usage.

Quiet Operation

With a sound level of just 37dB, the outdoor unit runs quietly — ideal for installation near bedrooms, living areas or neighbouring properties.

Panasonic’s split-type design heats water from the top of the tank first, giving quick access to hot water even while the system is reheating. It can heat 200L to 40°C in less than half the time of an integrated system while using around 36% less energy.**
