The Rheem All-Pressure Vitreous Enamel (APVE) 250L is a large indoor electric hot water cylinder that works on any water pressure. Connect it to your existing low pressure system today, then upgrade to mains pressure later with a simple valving change, with no new cylinder needed. The 250L suits a household of 3 to 4 people, so it’s a good step up for a growing family that keeps running out of hot water.

Sizing is within +/- 5mm due to manufacturing. Allow extra clearance for pipework and seismic restraints. Cylinders over 200L need a centre seismic strap, which we take care of as part of an installation.
3kW Element
Every 250L comes with a 3.0kW copper screw-in element for faster reheating, which suits a larger household’s demand. It runs on New Zealand’s standard 230V supply and must be connected by a registered electrician.
Built to Last
The vitreous enamel lining gives the inside of the cylinder a hard, hygienic finish that resists rust and corrosion, and it handles a wide range of New Zealand water conditions. The cylinder has a galvanised outer finish and a triple inlet as standard.

The APVE range is designed and manufactured in New Zealand, meets New Zealand Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), and is backed by Rheem’s nationwide sales and service network.
